The Associate Manager will be responsible for the smooth functioning and reliability of electrical and automation systems in the Cold Rolling Division (CRD). The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving overall system efficiency to ensure uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical and automation equipment in the Cold Rolling Mill.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, drives, SCADA, DCS systems, and instrumentation issues to reduce downtime.
- Ensure immediate restoration of electrical systems during breakdowns to maintain production flow.
Equipment & System Management
- Maintain and optimise VFDs, control panels, and electrical systems in CRD equipment such as the pickling line, cold rolling mills, and skin pass mills.
- Ensure calibration and reliability of instrumentation and field devices.
- Monitor and manage motors, sub-stations, and energy distribution systems.

- Implement and enforce electrical safety standards in all automation systems.
