Job Role and Responsibilities
The Associate Electrical Design Engineer will work within the Motion Large Motors Division at Vadodara, playing a vital role in the engineering design lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing and modifying electrical equipment, systems, and installations by applying standard design concepts and engineering principles. This is an opportunity to work on complex and technically demanding projects where precision and adherence to specifications are paramount.
Your daily work will comprise designing electrical solutions, preparing technical drawings and calculations, and modifying existing designs as per project needs. You will be involved in technical design reviews and verifications, ensuring that all designs meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements. Close collaboration across disciplines will be essential to align design work with manufacturing and testing protocols.

| Documentation and Reporting | Maintain accurate records of design modifications, decisions, and assessments to support project traceability. |
Candidate Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering, preferably within industries related to electrical motors, generators, or heavy electrical equipment.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical design principles, standards, and practices including equipment, system design, and modification of pre-engineered systems.
- Experience with electrical design software and engineering tools for drawing and calculation purposes.
- Capability to prepare and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) in engineering projects.
- Familiarity with performing technical risk assessments and applying mitigation actions.
- Strong communication skills in English, facilitating effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite at Vadodara, Gujarat.
