Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Engineer – Design & Development, based at our Surendranagar (Gujarat) facility. This role offers an opportunity to be directly involved in conceptualizing, designing, and developing engineering solutions that support the company’s product innovation and growth strategy. The position demands a combination of technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and teamwork-oriented approach.
As a member of the Design & Development team, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers while also contributing independently to new product development, design modifications, and process improvements. The role is ideal for candidates who want to strengthen their engineering foundation while actively contributing to industrial innovation.

Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Engineer – Design & Development, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support in Product Design and Development
- Assist in creating design concepts, engineering drawings, and 3D models for gear pumps and related products.
- Work closely with senior engineers to evaluate design feasibility, material compatibility, and durability.
- Product Improvement and Modifications
- Participate in projects aimed at improving performance, reducing costs, and enhancing reliability.
- Suggest modifications or new approaches based on trial results and performance testing.
- Collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality Teams
- Coordinate with the production unit to address manufacturing feasibility, tolerances, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the quality control team to ensure designs are meeting performance standards, ISO guidelines, and customer expectations.
- Project Execution
- Track progress of assigned projects and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including design revisions, testing notes, and technical reports.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a bridge between design teams, vendors, clients, and internal departments.
- Present findings, technical details, and progress reports to management and project leads.
- Adherence to Safety and Company Standards
- Follow best practices in engineering safety and comply with company’s quality and process management systems.
- Ensure designs consider operator safety, durability, and regulatory compliance.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerance analysis, and assembly layouts.
- Good mathematical and conceptual clarity with a practical mindset.
