Job Description and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be part of Reliance’s mechanical maintenance team, ensuring quality work, reliability, and safety in operations. The major responsibilities include:
- Executing mechanical maintenance tasks with quality and efficiency.
- Supervising and mobilising resources to complete maintenance jobs on time.
- Ensuring compliance with standard procedures and company best practices.
- Preparing and analysing the mechanical maintenance budget and cost reports.
- Assisting the manager in identifying spare parts and supporting procurement.
- Conducting troubleshooting and analysis as part of an RCA (Root Cause Analysis) team.
- Managing contractors, ensuring repair and refurbishment through workshops.
- Monitoring equipment performance, reliability, and preparing performance reports.
- Leading shutdown maintenance activities as per the planned schedule.
- Maintaining SAP-PM and SAP-MM data entries accurately for tracking costs and jobs.
- Preparing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for maintenance activities.
- Leading and participating in Reliability & Integrity studies and implementing recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with HSEF (Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire) standards and mandatory company trainings.
- Preserving IMS documents, maintaining job history, and supporting knowledge management activities.
This role demands hands-on exposure to plant operations, team collaboration, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of plant maintenance experience for degree holders.
- Minimum 7 years of plant experience for diploma holders.
