Position Summary
As a Vehicle Delivery Manager at Tata Motors, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition from the Digital phase to the Physical phase of vehicle programs. This role is critical for guaranteeing the program’s timely delivery with uncompromised quality that meets Tata Motors’ high standards. The manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various project stages, aligning teams, and driving solutions that ensure stakeholder satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end vehicle delivery process from digital development through to physical production.
- Plan, monitor, and ensure timely execution of project milestones without compromising quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure program alignment.
- Manage risk, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions proactively to maintain schedules.
- Act as a liaison between the digital development teams and physical program execution teams to ensure clear communication and goal alignment.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the customer (internal or external) requirements and expectations.
- Maintain documentation and protocols for vehicle delivery tracking and reporting.
Educational Requirements

Candidates holding a BE in Mechanical or Automobile engineering will be preferred to bring domain expertise relevant to vehicle manufacturing and delivery processes.
Work Experience
- Candidates with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in automotive manufacturing, vehicle delivery programs, or project management will be considered.
- Experience in handling large-scale vehicle or automotive product programs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital automotive development phases moving towards physical validation and launch will be an added benefit.
